That is why it is important to undergo an <strong>ultrasound diagnosis<\/strong> in time, which can warn the doctor about abnormalities even in cases where changes in the gland do not show clinical signs yet.<\/p>\n<h2>Thyroid sonography<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Organs being examined.\u00a0<\/strong>A sonographic examination of the thyroid gland includes a detailed examination of the paired thyroid lobes, the isthmus, the areas where the parathyroid glands are located, and the adjacent lymph nodes by an experienced ultrasound specialist (radiologist), using modern and expert equipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration.\u00a0<\/strong>The examination takes 10-20 minutes.
